Job Description

 

Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Hours: Full time, first shift

Compensation: Annual salary $40,000-$52,000

​

Responsibilities

• Supervise & lead the daily activities of shipping employees, maintaining and managing level of performance based on company standards, workflow, safety, and results.

• Coordinate outbound shipments with Shipping Manager, picking and staging product for shipping, maintain high level of quality

• Schedule and manage inbound shipments including containers, LTL, and trucks. Load and unload shipments using a forklift

• Manage inventory with regular counts, organizing stored product, and reconcile with inventory system

• Efficiently stack product, organize into inventory locations, and maintain physical warehouse layout/organization

• Effectively manage a team of 5-10 employees, including communicating job expectations and standards, coaching, maintaining workplace standards, and providing disciplinary action as needed

• Keep workplace clean and organized

 

Requirements

• 3+ years experience managing employees in a warehouse setting

• 5+ year experience in warehouse/shipping

• High School diploma or GED required, Associates degree or higher preferred

• Skilled forklift driver

• Ability to work standing for several hours at a time and lift up to 50 lbs

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain deadlines and schedules, and prioritize efficiently to ensure best results

• Possess strong leadership skills, must be able to effectively manage a team, adhering to company policy, behavioral, safety, and performance standards. Able to lead a diverse and growing team and maintain quality and performance standards
